A highly productive and reliable medium leaf white clover that’s suitable for all livestock farming. It is very persistent in a pasture sward and will improve animal and pasture performance.
Benefits of Demand® White Clover Freshcote
- Suitable for sheep, cattle, dairy and deer.
- Good tolerance to pests and leaf diseases.
- Medium leafed with many stolon (stems) for superior persistence and adaption under a range of grazing conditions.
- High nitrogen fixation ability – provides free soil nitrogen to the other pasture species, boosting performance and growth.
- Leaf size: Small to medium
- Sowing rate: 3-5 kg/ha in pasture mixes as sole clover
- Sowing dates: Autumn and spring
- Persistence: 3-5+ years (subject to climate, insect pressure, and
