How do you want it loaded? ? You can choose how your fertiliser is packed/despatched. Bulk means we tip it
into a truck or trailer, and is suitable for a metric tonne (mt) or more. You can
also choose to collect your fertiliser in our convenient bags – this works for any
amount you order. Our bags are reusable - please return your bags to the store.

Benefits of N-Protect® on the ground

  • Coated urea reduces nitrogen losses, saving money in the long run.
  • Your plants can make the most of extra nitrogen in their roots.
  • Research shows that using the urease inhibitor coating can cut nitrogen loss by 50%, making your farm more eco-friendly.

N-Protect is usually spread at rates of between 40 and 300 kg/ha.

Actual spreading rates will vary according to farm type, climate, productivity and soil type. Soil testing and fertiliser plans are available to ensure you use the right product at the correct rate.

It is better to make several small to medium applications at intervals to minimise leaching losses and increase efficient use of the N applied compared with single heavy applications. N-Protect should not be mixed for any length of time with other fertilisers as problems of physical quality may result.

Because of the high N concentration in N-Protect, it is very important to achieve an even spread. Make sure that the application equipment has been correctly calibrated and is properly used.

Although N-Protect may be mixed with other products for prompt application, it is not compatible with the following: Superphosphate, Sulphur Super 30, Magnesium Oxide, Copper Sulphate and Cobalt Sulphate.

Flexi-N (magnesium coated Urea) can be used as a substitute when mixing with superphosphate-based products.

Incompatible with: Hypochlorites (e.g. bleach), nitrates, nitrites, strong oxidisers.
