Our silage test measures all the key indicators of silage quality: dry matter (DM), metabolisable energy (ME), crude protein, pH, and lactic acid. It’s essential for evaluating fermentation, nutritional value, and overall feed quality - so you can feed with confidence and optimise animal performance.

When to test: Before feeding to stock.

Measures: DM, Crude protein, lipid (fat), Ash, NDF, Soluble sugars & starch, OMD, ME, pH, Ammonia, Lactic Acid

For each Silage Test you add to your cart, you will receive 1 x ARL sample bag in your test kit, which is posted out to you containing all the information you need to get started with your DIY feed testing.
