Benefits of Fumate

  • Usually applied immediately after sowing beet and before weeds have emerged, after crop emergence Fumate is tank mixed with other beet herbicides
  • Controls a wide range of broadleaf and certain grass weeds.
  • Provides effective control of barley grass in pastures when applied after the main germination in April to July.
  • A cost-effective way of controlling poa annual in turf crops.
  • Active in the soil for up to 10 weeks after applying.
Ingredients:

Contains 500g/litre ethofumesate in the form of a suspension concentrate.

Application rates do vary from crop to crop depending on the weed spectrum present.

Always read the label.

Never mix a surfactant of any type with Fumate as crop injury may result.

Absorbed by the emerging shoot of grass weeds and by roots of broadleaf weeds soon after germination.

Post-emergence applications are taken into the plant initially through foliage and later via the roots.

Keep out of reach of children.

Store in accordance with NZS 8409 Management of Agrichemicals.

Store in the original container tightly closed in a locked, dry, cool area away from foodstuffs, fertilisers and seeds.

Stores containing 100L of Fumate are subject to signage. More than 1000L require emergency response plans and secondary containment.

When stored appropriately this product should show no significant degradation for two years from the date of manufacture.

  • Half fill the spray tank with water then add Fumate with constant agitation.
  • Maintain agitation continuously while applying.
  • When mixing with other chemicals add the Fumate first.

May be tank mixed with products containing phenmedipham and desmedipham.

Mixing with phenoxy herbicides for use on pasture is not recommended.
