Our feed tests give you a clear picture of nutritional value, helping you make informed decisions for animal health and performance. Whether you're balancing rations, checking silage quality, or comparing feed options, we’ve got you covered with accurate, reliable results.
When to test: Before feeding to stock.
Measures: Dry Matter (DM), Crude protein, lipid (fat), Ash, ADF, NDF, Soluble sugars & starch (SSS), OMD, ME
For each Feed Test you add to your cart, you will receive 1 x ARL sample bag in your test kit, which is posted out to you containing all the information you need to get started with your DIY feed testing.
Purchase one Test for each feed sample you want tested.
WHAT'LL THIS TEST MEASURE?
Ideally test your animal feed source (pasture, cereal, maize, fodder beet, brassica leaf & stem) prior to feeding to stock.
We partner with ARL, one of the best soil testing labs in NZ with over 40 years of proven experience serving local farmers and growers. All tests are done to the highest standards, tailored to NZ conditions.
